A Revolutionary Showcase

At this year’s Eurobike Show, we highlighted our innovative tyre manufacturing process, which significantly reduces emissions while managing to maintain product durability and high performance.

We introduced our sustainable bicycle product range, featuring tyres made from bio-based and renewable materials, capable of reducing CO2 emissions by up to 82% compared to traditional rubber tyres. These third-party-verified, eco-friendly products perform just as well as conventional tyres but set a new benchmark for sustainability in the cycling industry.

World’s First Carbon Neutral Tyre

At our booth in Hall 12.1, we have also unveiled The World’s First Carbon-Neutral Tyre, made entirely from reclaimed materials. This innovative concept, crafted from algae and post-consumer waste, turned heads and sparked significant conversations about sustainability in the cycling industry. Attendees were fascinated by the demonstration of our unique manufacturing capabilities, which enable us to create products that significantly reduce environmental impact.

New Partnerships and Innovations

We also announced an exciting new partnership with Frog Bikes, a leading manufacturer of premium kids’ bikes. This collaboration aims to integrate our sustainable tyres into their products, furthering both companies’ commitment to environmental responsibility. Starting in 2025, Frog Bikes will feature reTyre tyres across their entire range, highlighting our shared vision for a greener future.

Sustainability Takes Center Stage

We were thrilled to see sustainability becoming the centre of attention at Eurobike, with many interesting product advancements and talks happening at the show. We were happy to contribute and share our thoughts in two panels focused on the future of sustainable manufacturing in the cycling industry.

The Sustainability Afternoon Panel organised by Cycling Industries Europe and Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry – CONEBI, was especially engaging. It featured insights from industry leaders from Decathlon, Herrmans, Trek, Shimano, Selle Royal, and reTyre, sparking engaging discussions on lifecycle analysis, circularity, and diversity. Our CEO, Paul Magne Amundsen, shared reTyre’s innovative approaches, which were met with enthusiastic interest.

Additionally, the “Made in Europe” Panel highlighted the importance of local manufacturing, with our CMO, Cecilie Bockmann Olsen, contributing valuable perspectives.
